I believe in the interaction between people, nature, and space. The feeling of soft textures on the skin, invigorating scents, the calming sight of the setting sun, the sound of silence, moments of reflection—these are the things that evoke positive emotions within us, grounding us and awakening our senses.
Furnishings should therefore not be merely a purely functional or technical solution to a problem. Excellent interior design always creates a symbiosis that brings people and their environment into harmony.
When I begin a project, I always start by gaining an overview of my clients’ wishes and the location.
I look at the architecture to understand what already exists and what can inspire me. On this basis, I decide what is worth preserving, where interesting sightlines can be created, and where there is potential for improvement.
Every project is based on an ongoing dialogue. I discuss my ideas and continuously refine them. I develop themes, collect materials, examine details, and test my clients’ reactions to different combinations as the ideas evolve and take shape.
I do not simply design spaces. My goal is to empower my clients to live with style. I teach them how to work with color, materials, and proportions, and how to use light effectively. I show them how to discover their creativity and where they can find inspiration. I enable my clients to develop their own style—one that expresses their individual personality.
